Guanajuato

Armando led us through a tasting of Mezcals. He also engaged us in some great conversation. In all, we were here for over 4 hours!

Craft beer is getting bigger in Mexico, but still has a way to go. Our hotel had a brewery from Guanajuato – the beers weren’t very good but at least we got to try them.

Got some candy to try and saw these – Las Charamuscas. They are hard candy molded into the shape of people.

Pretty cool little spot on the bridge here. We were lucky to snag one of the two tables so we could eat and watch the people go by.

It might be hot, but we stay cool..

There was a spot on the floor that directed us to take a selfie in this spot.. when in Rome..

Surprised to find a mummy that looked an awful lot like Linds! Right down to the clothes..

Smallest known mummy is this baby. Pretty creepy!

This person died of a stab wound – you can see the hole and a shaded area under the rib cage.

This mummy had Asian features so they call her China Girl. Also this is the only one where the casket survived as well.
